MEET OUR STAFF

Medical Director - Timothy Kremchek MD

Dr. Timothy Kremchek is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who is fellowship trained in sports medicine. A 1986 graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Dr. Kremchek completed fellowships in total joint reconstruction and sports medicine in both Boston and Birmingham, AL, at the Alabama Sports Medicine Institute under the tutelage of Dr. James Andrews.

His passion for sports medicine is obvious, since he has been the Medical Director for the Cincinnati Reds and their minor league affiliates since 1996. In addition, Dr. Kremchek also provides second opinions for the NFL, and is Team Physician for Wilmington College, Morehead State, and Wittenberg University, as well as Medical Director for Moeller, Indian Hill, Kings, Wyoming, Mt. Notre Dame, Mason, and Princeton high schools.

Dr. Kremchek specializes in the advanced open and arthroscopic treatment and reconstruction of the shoulder, elbow, and knee. 

In 2003, along with his partners, Dr. Timothy Kremchek opened Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Center in Sharonville, a northern suburb of Cincinnati, offering MRI, physical therapy, rehabilitation, and out-patient surgery in a state-of-the-art single specifalty center; where medical students, residents and sports medicine fellows are taught the art of arthroscopic orthopaedic surgery.

 

Head Athletic Trainer - Mike Olds AT, ATC

Mike Olds, AT, ATC is a Cincinnati native and Kings alumnus, who received his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Ohio University. Currently, Mike is the Head Certified Athletic Trainer for Kings High School and the Midland Baseball Organization, and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association. 

In his spare time, Mike Olds enjoys to fish and hunt with his family and friends. He also enjoys watching the Bengals, Reds, and Buckeyes.


Assistant Athletic Trainer - Addam Kitchen DAT, LAT, ATC

Addam joined the King’s sports medicine staff in the spring of 2018. He grew up on the shores of Lake Erie in Vermilion, Ohio where he attended high school and ran track and cross country. He is a BOC certified and Ohio licensed athletic trainer and graduated with his Bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University in 2015 where he was assigned to multiple varsity sports and Thomas Worthington High School throughout the program.

After passing the BOC exam he went to Indiana State University to earn his Doctorate in Athletic Training while working as a graduate assistant with the track and field and cross country teams. He’s a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), Great Lakes Athletic Trainers’ Association (GLATA), and the Ohio Athletic Trainers’ Association (OATA). Addam is certified in Graston Technique (GT) therapy and is passionate about injury prevention and biomechanics in sport.

He’s an avid runner and outdoors enthusiast looking forward to exploring the many state parks around southern Ohio.
