Please see the important note below that went to student-athletes and families of programs currently in activity regarding the current travel advisory. We appreciate everyone’s patience during this time!
**Dear Parents & Student-Athletes,
I hope this email finds you doing well. With the recent announcements, we wanted to get a message to you as soon as possible to specifically address the travel advisory put in place by Governor Mike DeWine.
Yesterday, Governor DeWine instituted a travel warning for the states of Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Mississippi, Nevada, South Carolina, and Texas. Per this order, those entering Ohio after traveling to these states have been advised to self-quarantine for 14 days. Obviously this has created some questions as many coaches and student-athletes are currently traveling or will be traveling. We encourage all coaches, student-athletes, and families who have traveled to these areas to strongly consider the Governor’s travel advisory.
Any student-athletes or coaches should continue to screen symptoms before attending any practice, workout, or tryout and should NOT attend if you are experiencing any symptom of Covid-19. We will continue our symptom screening on site for each coach and student-athlete to ensure our team activities are safe and to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
We know this has been a challenging time for all of our students and families to adjust to this new normal. I appreciate all that you do for our programs and feel free to reach out to myself or your coach for any questions or concerns. We remain hopeful for a return to high school sports and look forward to a successful 2020-2021.
